Time to Dust Off the Cobwebs

source:freedigitalphotos.net/
 Enough is enough!

Time to brush off the cobwebs and get this blog back into action.

I can't believe it has been almost 4 weeks since my last post.
Where have those weeks gone?

Can I let you in on a little secret?

I did have a thought that perhaps this little blog had run its race and
that maybe it was time to close the door.............

But I know just how much I would miss it.

I have finally come to realise that this blog truly feeds my soul and gives me something
to aspire to.

It allows me to dream big dreams, indulge my creativity, share my joy
and then put it all on paper to share with whoever may be
passing by.

Without it - I know I would not have the incentive to try different things or discover new projects.
The days would simply merge from one to another without any real
sense of achievement or accomplishment.

It is what keeps me alive and fresh and current.
(Who would have thought a little ol' blog could do all that!)

So I have given my header a bit of a revamp -
Revealed my face for all to see (Hmm... I kinda liked hiding behind that kookaburra!)
and
Injected some re-newed energy into these ramblings.

Hi everyone - can't wait to see what you have all been up to.

It feels good to be back!

  1. Hoooorayyyy! I'm SO glad that you're back. I really enjoy reading your posts. And it's true -it *is* strange the lovely effect that blogging can have on your life. I notcie that too - of course, I have funny old days too...but overall I find it a really positive aspect of my life.

    And look at you.....you're gorgeous!!

  3. What a relief! I knew you were having second thoughts and I did understand because I know I disappeared for months but the dreadful thing about blogging is that it becomes addictive! You make such lovely friends and then this is your line of communication! I have made some friends that I know will be in my life forever and even though we now speak on the phone, skype, share a coffee and email..THIS is where we communicate on a different level!
Sharyne I have been walking along your lovely bush track for a long time now, even when I was not communicating and I would be incredibly disappointed if you went away.
And hey, you look as beautiful as I knew you would. Love Julienne xx

    1. Hi Amanda - ditto the reply I have just left for Julienne above.
I left the following little message below for you :
"Dear Amanda - I have really missed hearing about you and your lovely family over there in WA. Gosh - I have been "missing" so long Gracie is probably at school and darling little Sophie is probably walking! Looking forward to having a big catch up today". ;)S

    Love your header!
I feel the same way...sometimes life just gets too busy,
and time flies by too quickly.

    1. Dear Deborah - I'm sure everyone must feel that way from time to time. (For me) I really need to prioritise. The work and busyness will always be there but I definitely need the creative outlet blogging provides. Thank you so much my friend for the very warm welcome back. I hope everything is going well for you and that the days are getting a little warmer over there. Looking forward to popping over to your blog and seeing what you have been up to. ;)S
